Hands on Training “Boot camp programs on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones and related technologies)”
1) Hands on Training included the introduction to new concept of Unmanned Aircraft Systems i.e. Drones and related technologies. 2) It was useful to understand the use of Drones in Civil Engineering. 3) The Boot camp programs was very informative. 4) Students get very good technical information along with hands on training of assembly of Drones. After the session some students shown their interest in taking this topic for their BE or ME projects.

The site visit of under construction commercial building at Baner was conducted by Department of Civil Engg., Rajarshi Shahu College of Engg. for second year students. This visit has scheduled between 1.30 pm to 3.30pm. Objectives: Observing and understanding the following for minimizing the gap between real life construction work and academics. • Construction practices on the site • Safety practices followed on site • Different drawings used at site and their importance. Students were allowed to observe the functioning of each construction activity and their queries were also answered by the site engineer during the visit.

Patil and faculty members and students of civil and electronics & Telecommunication Department at 11:00 am. The session was conducted by Mr.Pratik Sharad Hendre. Examiner of Patents & Designs, Class 1 officer Central Government. It was very useful to all the Participants. At last the program ended with vote of thanks by prof. Ramatai G. Pawar.

Third Year Civil Engineering students visited PANSHET HYDRO POWER PLANT ON 21/11/2022 along with faculty Dr. A. R. Deshmukh. It is Surface type of power plant constructed at the base of PANSHET dam having capacity of 8 Megawatt in which FRANCIS turbine is installed.

It is constructed on river PERIYER with two other dams at CHERUTHONI and KULAMAVU. Dam having 70.50 TMC capacity whose height is 170 meter. It’s thickness at top is 7.62 meter and 19.80 meter at bottom. Really, its temple of modern INDIA.
