Student's Association

Purpose:

1. Create, organize, promote and enrich the social, cultural, recreational, educational programs, services and environment for students of the College.
2. Develop a sense of community among students and other groups within the College.
3. Promote general welfare of students and the furtherance of post-secondary education consistent with the purpose of the College.
4. Promote and represent students' issues and interest in relation to the College.

Benefits:

1. The obvious benefit of joining a student society is the impact it will have on your social life. You will meet people who share an interest with you, and you will widen your social network beyond your course and the people you live with.
2. However, there are also real gains in terms of your employability - the skills, qualities and knowledge you offer to prospective employers, which suggest that you will successfully adapt to life as a graduate in the workplace.
3. There are three main categories of student society. Best known are the sports societies, which often involve inter-university competitions. Then there are subject-based societies, which enable you to extend your academic knowledge more informally, through guest speakers, field trips and extra-curricular projects.
4. Finally, there are the societies which don’t fit either category (like musical instruments), and might involve setting up a business or working in the local community.
5. Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering Department has Student Association in banner of “Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES)”. It plays an important role in the development of student as an engineer not only in academic as well as by various co-curriculum and extracurricular activities. Under this association, various activities are organized by which ACES aims to provide the platform for all the students of Computer Engineering.
Objectives
1. To advance the education and social development of its members and students of the college as a whole.
2. To represent the interests of its members and act as a channel of communication in dealing with the college and society.
3. To promote and protect the welfare of its members and students.
4. To promote, encourage and co-ordinate student clubs, societies, sports and social activities.

Mechanical Engineering

‘MESA’ of Mechanical Engineering Department is an organization formed by the students which works for the students. The basic aim of MESA is to enrich students with different qualities to add dimensions to their personality so that every student emerges as multi-functional engineer who is globally recognized. MESA was established in the year 2004. The motto of MESA is to mould one’s personality in such a way that one becomes equally competent in all streams of engineering. In the recent years MESA has been working hard to press the students towards the zenith of developing them in an all round fashion and in years to come, it shall be consistent but with lateral improvements. The governing body is formed of the students. The president of MESA is the head of the Department, with a Staff Advisor and Co-Incharge of MESA, while bright and dynamic students are selected for the post of Vice President (from B.E), Secretary (from T.E), and Treasurer (from T.E) by interviewing them. Executive Members (one from each division), and Ladies Representatives (one from each class) are elected by each class.

E&TC Engineering

Objectives

1. To bring about the technical development of students by organizing seminars, workshops and other activities

Civil Engineering

Objectives
Emphasizing on the impetus to be rekindled in the younger minds regarding entrepreneurship, leadership and developing the personalities of the students so that they emerge as not only good civil engineers but also responsible and lawabiding citizens.
Outcomes
1. Exposure of students regarding on-site issues, pre-requisites for handling any future tasks involving technical knowledge as well as terminologies used by the labor class.
2. Increased confidence of the students for taking up innovative initiatives.
3. A generation of civil engineers who will serve as an asset to the society.

Engineering Science

Purpose
1. To organize the social, cultural and educational programs for the FE students of the College.
2. To eliminate the fear from the minds of the students by organizing different cultural activities for the FE students.
3. To encourage every student to disclose his/her ideas into the target language by conducting different activities.
4. To organize different technical and non technical guest/expert lectures for the betterment of FE students. /p>
