About Department

Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality. Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Department of MCA is started in the Academic Year 2002-2003 with an Objective to provide quality technical education and excellence in the ever expanding horizon of technical education of the 21st century to all the aspiring students. I can boldly say that we have excelled in every initiative that we undertook and we have stood together in facing the challenges in providing quality education to students. Department of MCA contains faculty members which are a mix of industrial and academic expertise.

The MCA department is not only active in research but also in encouraging students for curricular and extracurricular activities. The department prepares students for a broad range of careers in Government sector, software industries, Entrepreneurship by hands on trainings, projects, skill development programs, ethics education for management. Programming Lab

Description:
The objective of the programming laboratory to enlighten the students with knowledge base in subjects like C Programming, Core Java, ASP .Net, Android applications, Python Programming, Spring Boot, Django Framework and Angular JS Framework in Problem solving using advance tools and Techniques. The lab is used to train the students to improve their programming knowledge and make try out's to get familiar with the Core Courses. Students are offered access to both offline and online services.

Programming Lab is spatial and well equipped with the latest HCL and Wipro Systems. It provides a wide approach in programming and enables to apply knowledge in latest computer Programming. Guidance is provided to the students by a team of subject faculty experts and lab programmer.

MCA Admission Process

MCA - 60 students

Duration - MCA - 2 Years from Academic Year 2020-2021 as per AICTE Notification.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing to MAH-MCA-CET:-

  1. Passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories & physically handicapped) of minimum three years duration in any discipline. Candidates who have passed BCA, BCS or B.Sc.
  2. (Computer/information Technology) degree courses are not required to fulfill the requirement of having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
  3. Valid score of MAH-MCA-CET conducted by the competent authority. Admission will be on the basis of an Entrance Examination - MAH-MCA-CET.
